Introduction to Quality Migrant Admission Scheme

Program Overview

The Hong Kong Quality Migrant Admission Scheme is an immigration absorption scheme with quotas, which aims to attract high-skilled talents or outstanding talents to settle in Hong Kong, thereby enhancing Hong Kong's competitiveness. Applicants who are approved do not need to be offered an offer by a local employer before settling in Hong Kong. You may also bring your spouse and unmarried and dependent children under the age of 18 to Hong Kong.

This program is not available to nationals of Afghanistan, Cambodia, Cuba, Laos, North Korea, Nepal and Vietnam.

Eligibility

Applicants must meet all of the following basic qualifications:

You must be 18 years or older when you submit your application.
Must prove that they can support themselves and their dependants (if any) independently for living and accommodation during their stay in Hong Kong without relying on public assistance.
Must not have any criminal record or adverse immigration record in Hong Kong or elsewhere.
Possess good writing and language skills in Chinese or English.
Possess good academic qualifications or professional abilities.
