Located in the southwestern Pacific Ocean, Vanuatu became an independent country in 1980. It consists of more than 80 islands with an area of approximately 12,200 square kilometers. It has a tropical marine climate all year round. The capital, Port Vila, has an airport and a port, a population of about 34,000 and is the country's political, commercial, tourism, education, communications and service center. Vanuatu is known as one of the most peaceful and happiest countries in the South Pacific.

Vanuatu Citizenship by Donation Program
The applicant makes a donation to Vanuatu, and the funds raised will be used to promote the country's economic development. Depending on the number of applicants, donations start at $130,000.
Eligible family members include:
- Spouse of the principal applicant
- Children under 18 years of age of the principal applicant or his/her spouse
- Unmarried school-age children of the principal applicant or his/her spouse aged 18 to 25
- Parents of the principal applicant or their spouse who are 50 years of age or older
